Stress is known also for the release of chemicals which cause inflammation and can worsen acne.

There are simple and practical Stress-management techniques such as deep breathing, and guided imagery can help ones skin look younger.

One popular and easy to remember method is called square-box breathing: First inhale for four seconds, then hold for another four seconds. Next, exhale for four seconds, finally rest for four seconds; repeat this pattern four times. Simple, to the point, yet effective.
