cosmetic treatment

Q:

Hi, my name is Donna and I haven’t personally been seen in your office yet. I have spent the last 5 years of my life debating having injectables done, and of those five, the last two years have been spent searching online for a good doctor that won’t push me to leave his office looking like Barbie. I know that is probably a HUGE generalization, but I can’t believe how many people I know who have wanted to get rid of a few wrinkles and walked out of the office looking like a completely different person! It almost makes me feel like they want to assign a different person to each part of my body that they don’t like and begin chipping away!!

Where can I just have someone sit down with me, be sincere/empathetic and help me figure out the best option for clearing up these THREE wrinkles I have? I don’t want my breasts, lips, teeth, feet…. or anything else for that matter worked on, I just need to find a doctor who appreciates the natural look and wants to help me feel good about myself. PLEASE HELP!!

Dear Donna,

Thank you for taking the time to send us a message regarding your concerns and questions. As you requested, I will happily post your questions and response to them in our blog for others to be able to see. We, here at US Hair Restoration, completely understand the struggles that you are having in this area and hope that all prospective patients know that not ALL physicians are this way. Because many business’ are struggling at this time to cover their overhead in prices and lack of patients, it is said that some physicians are now going as far as encouraging larger and more expensive procedures to clientele that it is unnecessary for. While it is great to spread this vital knowledge, the only person who can be the ultimate preventer of unnecessary operations is YOU. You must be the one to ask questions, push for the answers, and know your limits.

In order to best prevent the constant pressure of physicians like you had mentioned, finding a doctor like Parsa Mohebi, M.D. who is geared toward natural, quality results is vital. The best suggestion I would have for you is to plan/write out what you would like to have touched up, go in for a consultation with a doctor with an honorable reputation, and feel it out. If you are feeling uncomfortable or that you are in the wrong hands, wait off to be sure. Trust your gut and schedule as many free consultations you need until you feel assured that the results will be close (if not your exact expectations). The right physician for you will understand your precautions and work with you to achieve the best results for you, not his/her pocketbook.
